Winding along the rugged West Cork coast from Courtmacsherry to South Ring, walkers are treated to panoramic views of the ocean, Broadstrand, Dunworley, Ballinglanna and Inchydoney Island. The fresh sea air and the sweeping coastal vistas provide a refreshing, grounding experience for the mind.

The event promotes fitness and wellness by offering distances for every ability. While seasoned walkers tackle the full 26-mile marathon, participants can also opt for the half-marathon, 15km, 10km or 5km.

Partnered with the RNLI’s “Respect the Water” and “Float to Live” campaigns, the event raises critical awareness about staying safe on the water.

This is a well signposted event with many stewards along the route. Water and snacks are offered and toilet facilities are also available.
